Chinese 16-item version references domestic localization and simplification research practices (HS/BS 8 items each, unidirectional scoring).

Version Description

ASI English: Uses original 22 items (including reverse scoring)

ASI Chinese: Uses 16 questions validated by domestic researchers (unidirectional scoring)

The two versions cannot be directly compared item-by-item, but both can be used for self-reflection.
